Overview
Matthew is a PhD researcher in the Department of Politics, supervised by Dr Stuart Shields and Professor Greig Charnock. His research is focused on understanding how the COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to shifts in World Order when viewed through healthcare as a sectoral case study.
Matthew is a Chartered Accountant and has had a thirty-year business career with experience in corporate finance, banking and private equity, including 12 years as a Finance Director within the logistics sector. He has returned to formal academic study recently and is undertaking PhD research on a part-time basis.
