Biography

Mayur P Joshi is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Financial Technologies (FinTech) and Information Systems (IS) at Alliance Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester, UK. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from Ivey Business School, Western University, Canada. His research examines the implications of digitalization for the fundamental and emerging processes of organizing by drawing on and contributing to organizational theory in the context of financial services and information technology industries. He worked as a banker for several years prior to joining academia, where he was engaged with functions and initiatives such as technology implementation, process improvement, and branch banking operations. His research has been published in the journal MIT Sloan Management Review as well as presented and recognized at the leading conferences in the fields of information systems and general management.
