Overview

Merin Shaji is a PhD Student at the University of Manchester. Her research focuses on green infrastructure within urban areas. She contributes to teaching as a teaching assistant in the postgraduate programmes in planning.

Biography

Merin joined the University of Manchester as a PhD student in Planning, Property and Environmental Management (PPEM) in September 2024. Prior to this, she worked in the planning sector. She completed her master's at the University of Manchester and graduated with a Distinction in Environmental Impact Assessment and Management in 2023. She completed her undergraduate in BSc Geography at the University of Liverpool and graduated with a First Class in 2022.
