    Research interests

    Mhorag has expertise in critical management and organisation studies with a particular focus on the implications of technology and information in organisations. She is interested in research methodology,organisation studies themes related to critical information systems, information ethics, and in more philosophical and theoretical approaches.
     
    Previous research has focussed largely on the public sector, including researching the exercise of power through information systems using a case study with the police, developing a pilot research data management system for the University of Manchester, and most recently researching users’ experiences of electronic patient records in the National Health Service using Actor-Network Theory.
