Biography
Dr Mays graduated from Imperial College London with an MEng in Mechanical Engineering in 2018. He subequently moved to the Department of Aeronautics at Imperial to complete his PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics (Hybrid RANS/LES turbulence models) in conjuction with Siemens Digital Software from 2019-2024 under the supervision of Prof. Sylvain Laizet. After a stint as Research Assistant under Prof. Denis Doorly looking at numerical simulation of multiphase flows in biomedical cases and exposure mitigation strategies, Dr Mays was appointed Research Associate under Prof. Alistair Revell in the Mechanical and Aerospace department at the University of Manchester in 2024.
