Biography

I received my PhD from the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Italy. After a brief spell at Newcastle University, I joined the University of Manchester in 2006.

I am currently the Director of Postgraduate Research for the School of Social Sciences.

Research interests

My research revolves around the role of expectations, learning and information in shaping economic outcomes and affecting economic policies.
