Dr Ming-Wei Hsu is a Research Associate at The Productivity Institute, University of Manchester. He holds a PhD in Management and an MSc in Accounting and Management from the University of Southampton, as well as MSc and BSc degrees in Computer Science from National Taiwan University. His interdisciplinary research combines machine learning, behavioural science, and information systems to address challenges in AI trust, data privacy, and project risk prediction.
He has conducted applied research at the Universities of Warwick, Leeds, Surrey, and the West of England, focusing on AI solutions in industrial and large-scale data settings. In addition to his academic roles, Dr Hsu served as a data scientist in a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Greyfly Ltd., where he implemented a machine learning module within a commercial project management platform.
