Personal profile
Overview
I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, specializing in the characterization of insulation systems for high voltage dry type transformers. My expertise lies in power transformers, multiphysics modeling, electromagnetic and structural field analysis.
I hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, where my research centered on the short-circuit strength analysis of power transformers. I applied both experimental and theoretical-based approaches to address real-world challenges in high voltage engineering. I have also contributed to guiding experimental projects.
At the University of Manchester, my current research involves the characterization of solid insulation material under DC stress and the design optimization of dry-type transformers. I am passionate about applying my technical skills to develop innovative solutions for power equipment and advancing sustainable energy systems.
