Personal profile

Biography

Masoud completed his PhD in 2014 focused on “Numerical Modelling of Tape Casting Process for Ceramic Applications” in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark (DTU-MEK), and continued as Post.Doc. and Researcher (Senior Research Fellow) in the same group. He then joined WMG, University of Warwick in 2016 mainly lecturing on energy and thermofluids, and working on computational approaches for design and optimising manufacturing processes. Masoud joined MACE as Lecture in September 2018. His research and teaching interests revolve around CFD, complex flow, and heat and mass transport in porous media with applications focusing on low carbon manufacturing and, lightweight (nano-)composites, thermal management of batteries, and microfluidic-integrated biosensors.
