Biography

Nadin Hawwash is an MB-PhD student in Cancer Sciences at the University of Manchester funded by Cancer Research UK focusing specifically on body fatness and the related cancer risk (ABACus2 Project). Nadin is interested in surgical oncology and becoming a clinician-scientist. Prior to transferring onto the medicine programme, Nadin completed foundation and first-year Biomedical Sciences at the University of Manchester. Alongside her academic studies, Nadin is a Senior Medicine Ambassador and an ambassador of the MB-PhD programme at the University of Manchester. Nadin is also a Widening Participation Fellow and a Manchester Access Programme Ambassador to inspire students from all backgrounds to study medicine.
