Personal profile

Overview

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Development Policy and Management while also working as a Social Policy Consultant with over 6 years of experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating poverty and inequality programs. Throughout my career, I have focused on the relationship between poverty and security, women's poverty, and conditional and unconditional cash transfers with a gender perspective.

Recently, I was part of the team that designed conditional and unconditional cash transfers in Colombia during the COVID-19 pandemic. I also contributed to building the roadmap for implementing the PDET, which marks the transition from Armed Conflict to Peace in Colombia's most affected areas by violence, coca crops, and poverty.

Overall, my goal is to help reduce poverty and inequality through innovative policy solutions that address the unique challenges faced by different communities.
