Biography
Nelly-Helen Ebruka is a PhD candidate in Politics at the University of Manchester, with a research focus on Africa-Europe space relations, particularly Earth Observation technology. Her work investigates the intersection of the international politics of space within Africa-EU relations. She holds a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Relations from St. Mary’s University, Twickenham. A recognized space advocate, Nelly-Helen was named one of the Top 10 Under 30 young innovators in the African space industry by Space in Africa in 2020. Through her research and advocacy, she aims to contribute to the advancement of Africa’s outer space programme and strengthen its international partnerships.
