Personal profile
Overview
Currently working towards my PhD in Human Geography, under the supervision of Gareth Clay, Aurora Fredriksen, and Nathaniel O'Grady. The project is titled "Anecdotal Anthropocenes: An interdisciplinary investigation into the role of experiential knowledge in sensing wildfires."
I am researching how different forms of knowledge, and different ways of knowing nature during the Anthropocene impact the policy and praxis regarding wildfire in the UK. I work with the National Fire Chiefs Council as my CASE partner, at their Northumberland Headquarters in Cramlington.
