Biography

Oluwatoyin Dosumu is a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at Alliance Manchester Business School. She has over eight years of teaching experience in Nigeria and the UK, as well as two years of work experience in the banking sector. She holds a PhD and MSc in Accounting and Finance from Leeds University Business School, and a BSc in Accounting from Osun State University, Nigeria. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). She teaches a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Fundamentals of Financial Reporting, Introductory Management Accounting, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Qualitative Research Methods. She also has experience in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.

Her research interests lie in the historical examination of corporate boards and IPOs' performance. Another area of research interest is the reduction of the attainment gap. Oluwatoyin has presented at several educational conferences, including the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS) Learning, Teaching and Student Experience Conference 2023, and the Advance HE Teaching and Learning Conference 2023.
