Biography
Parvathy Ramesh is a doctoral researcher at the Division of Psychology and Mental Health, pursuing a PhD in Mental Health. Her PhD, funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund, seeks to understand suicide and self-harm among Indian women. She is part of the South Asia Self-Harm Initiative (SASHI) team and is being supervised by Prof Catherine Robinson, Dr Peter Taylor and Dr Rebecca McPhillips.
Qualifications
2019-2020: Master of Science in Global Mental Health with Specialism in Mental Health Promotion. University of Glasgow.
Dissertation: Barriers and Facilitators to Accessing Perinatal Mental Health Services among Pregnant and Postpartum Women from Low and Lower-Middle Income Countries: A Systematic Review
