Peter Duberly

I'm a PhD researcher in the Department of Politics, supervised by Dr Ian Bruff and Dr Daniel Silver. My project focuses on mundane and everyday practices of community building, mutual aid, and collective direct action in low-income areas of Manchester. I am looking at the role of collective action outside of traditional state-market relationships in cultivating counter-hegemonic common sense and alternatives to neoliberal capitalism.
