Biography

Pippa is a doctoral researcher exploring how urban change and regeneration policies disrupt ageing in place for diverse groups and how participatory processes might counter this disruption. Her research uses a combination of ethnographic and participatory methods inspired by her background in Human Geography, Environmental Gerontology and Urban Studies. Her PhD research is conducted in collaboration with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and will contribute towards the Marie-Sklodowska Curie Doctoral HOMeAGE Network 

She is passionate about understanding age-friendly policies across Europe, having recently completed an MSc in Urban Studies across universities in Brussels, Vienna, Copenhagen, and Madrid.
