Overview

Ros is Director of Operations for the UK Future Biomanufacturing Research Hub and Head of Research Strategy and Engagement for the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology (MIB), The University of Manchester. She was Director of Operations for the Manchester Synthetic Biology Research Centre, SYNBIOCHEM, which saw the establishment of the Manchester Biofoundry, overseeing the set-up and development of the equipment infrastructure and senior technical team. Since joining the MIB in 2009, following a bioscience research career, she has made important contributions to the strategic development of the institute and supported many large grant applications and awards in the field of biotechnology / engineering biology. As part of the MIB Leadership Team Ros is responsible for developing the research strategy and external engagement.
