Rachel is a Research Associate within the Manchester Centre of Health Psychology, working across the SuMMiT-D and MyPeBS projects.
SuMMiT-D is a NIHR funded collaborative project between the University of Manchester and Oxford University, which aims to develop a text messaging service to support medication adherence in people with Type 2 diabetes. The MyPeBS trial compares a personalised risk-based screening strategy (based on the individual women’s risk of developing breast cancer) to standard screening among 85,000 women aged 40 to 70 in six European countries.
Before working at the University of Manchester, Rachel completed her PhD in 2021, in Exercise Psychology (sport and older adult behaviour change).
