Personal profile
Biography
I am a SEED-funded PhD researcher in Physical Geography, investigating the structural characteristics and ecosystem benefits of Tiny Forests across the United Kingdom. My project, supervised by Professor Sarah Lindley and Dr Polyanna da Conceição Bispo, aims to assess the ecological value and potential contributions of these small, urban green spaces to biodiversity, climate resilience, and community well-being. Through spatial analysis and ecological modeling, I seek to provide insights that can inform urban planning and environmental policy regarding the management and expansion of Tiny Forests.
Academic qualifications:
- PhD in Physical Geography at The University of Manchester (2024 - Present)
- MSc in Spatial and Ecological Modeling at the Universitat de Lleida (UdL), Spain (2023 - 2024)
- MSc in European Forestry at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF), Finland (2022 - 2023)
- MSc in Environmental Management at the Bath Spa University (BSU), UK (2020 - 2021)
