Criticality specialist involved in the safety assessment of new and existing plants at Sellafield.  Part of a team developing a large statistical simulation computer program for the analysis of neutron multiplication behaviour in a wide variety of systems, in the context of nuclear criticality safety.

Investigating the epidemiology of childhood leukaemia and nuclear installations, the statistical analysis of the spatial distribution of childhood leukaemia cases, the risks to health from exposure to radiation, including occupational exposures.
