Dr Rob Richardson is a Lecturer in Urban Planning & Placemaking at the University of Manchester, with particular research interests in the role of urban design within the planning system. He was previously a Research Associate at the University of Glasgow where he worked as part of the International Public Policy Observatory, and has been a Research Associate with the Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research. He completed a collaborative PhD with a Scottish local authority, at the University of Glasgow, and his teaching experience spans postgraduate and undergraduate planning, urban design, and public policy.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
