Overview

Robert Harper is Optometrist Consultant at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, Honorary Professor in Optometry, FBMH, a Visiting Professor in Optometry at the School of Health Sciences, City University London, and a Life Fellow of the College of Optometrists.  General optometry research interests include: Low vision; glaucoma; care pathways; and diagnostic test evaluation.  Current research projects that are externally funded include ESEP - the Enhanced Scheme Evaluation Project (funded by the College of Optometrists), an IGA funded project on virtual clinics in glaucoma and an NIHR project on community monitoring of nAMD.
