Personal profile

Overview

I am a Research Fellow in the Division of Immunology, Immunity to Infection and Respiratory Medicine.

My work uses computational techniques to explore the relationships between the circadian clock and disease. In particular looking at the effect of disruption to the circadian system, for example through shift working, has on health.

Currently I am utilising UK Biobank data to explore the relationship between working night shifts and moderate-severe asthma, and how this relationship interacts with sex.

I am Co-I on an Asthma & Lung UK grant which funds my research.

I co-lead the Research IT Computation and Data in Research (CaDiR) UoM UK Biobank Users community. I’m a research scholar with Our Future Health.
