Syed U. Yunas is pursuing his PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Manchester, Manchester, UK where he is working with 'Sensors and Sensing Systems' group.
His research interests include sensor fusion and data processing of different gait modalities such as inertial sensors and floor sensors. For experimenting and research, he has designed and implemented his own wearable inertial sensor system to analyse human gait.
His expertise involve designing of efficient and robust methods for sensor fusion across different modalities.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
