Biography
Dr Sally Gee is a Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Business & Innovation at the Alliance Manchester Business School. She joined the academic staff in September 2022 after working in industry and prior to this as a Research Fellow at the University of Manchester. Her interests primarily revolve around long-term processes of socio-technical change, innovation for sustainability and ‘whole system’ transitions for a sustainable future. Dr Gee’s research has been published in academic journals including Journal of Cleaner Production, Industry and Innovation, and Technology Analysis and Strategic Management, as well book chapters and commissioned reports. Dr Sally Gee is affiliated with the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIoIR) and the Sustainable Consumption Institute (SCI).

- Case Studies in Professional Management, a first-year undergraduate course on the BSc Management programme (course coordinator)
- Creativity, Design and Entrepreneurship. a second-year undergraduate course on the BSc Management programme
- Sustainable Business in Society, a final-year undergraduate elective on the BSc Management programme (course coordinator)
- Innovating for Sustainability, an elective on the MSc Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship programme (course coordinator)
- Entrepreneurship, Technology and Society, an elective on the MSc Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship programme
