Overview

Samaneh is a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering at the University of Manchester and joined the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering (MACE) in Sep 2022 as a Dean’s Award PhD student. She has a BSc and MSc in Mining and Mineral Processing Engineering, respectively, and the scope of her research has been mainly about industrial water and wastewater treatment, particularly in removing dyes and heavy metals from mining wastewater. Her research interests are Polymer membranes separation (Fabrication, modification, & characterization), MOF-incorporated membranes for water and wastewater treatment, Characterization techniques, Environmental Microbiology and Resource Recovery.
