Dr
Dr. Samira Malekmohammadi earned her PhD in Chemistry with a focus on the synthesis and characterization of advanced polymers, nanocomposites, and 2D materials. Her research, conducted at the cutting edge of materials chemistry, biomedical applications, and sustainability, addresses critical challenges in these fields. Based at the Henry Royce Institute and the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) in Manchester, she leads pioneering projects that focus on creating novel materials with enhanced properties, such as biocompatibility, mechanical strength, and environmental resilience. These materials find applications in biomaterials, sustainable technologies, and eco-friendly material development.
Dr. Malekmohammadi collaborates with experts worldwide, advancing cross-disciplinary research in chemistry and materials science. Her leadership has driven major research initiatives spanning academia and industry. As a reviewer and guest editor for respected academic journals, she has further solidified her influence, shaping the discourse in materials science, particularly in the areas of sustainability and nanotechnology. Her contributions continue to push the boundaries of materials innovation, driving next-generation solutions that address both biomedical and environmental challenges.
