Biography

After having qualified as a secondary school teacher in Germany (EFL/History; additional certificate in DaF) with a specialism in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), I moved to the UK where I have held various teaching positions in FE, HE and on international foundation programmes. I completed my doctoral studies (EdD) at Newcastle University, with the topic of my thesis drawing on an interdisciplinary project concerned with CLIL professional development for pathway teachers.
