Her project will investigate the effects of biomass burning aerosol on cloud droplet formation. Studies will use state-of-the-science online instrumentation to investigate the composition, hygroscopicity and potential to act as cloud condensation nuclei of particles emitted from the combustion of typical fuels of tropical wildfires.
