Sara is a second year PhD student (started on January 2021) studying about influence of tropical wildfire smoke on cloud formation. Her project will investigate the effects of biomass burning aerosol on cloud droplet formation. Studies will use state-of-the-science online instrumentation to investigate the composition, hygroscopicity and potential to act as cloud condensation nuclei of particles emitted from the combustion of typical fuels of tropical wildfires.
