Overview
My main reserach interest is in understanding the role of firms in societies. In my dissertation, I have examined the strategies that firms have developed to engage with the population belonging to the base of the economic pyramid (BoP). In my current research project, I am studing the influence of public policy on firm strategies to create and develop intangibles for innovative growth of the economy.
I am also working on projects related to the study of business strategies of family business firms in India and the influence of firm-level diversification on the performance of business group affiliated firms.
Biography
I have worked for over 10 years in the Indian software services industry in various roles. I have assumed responsibilities as a business consultant, program manager, business development manager as well as that of a senior software engineer in my professional career.
I am currently working as a Research Associate after my PhD from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. I did my MBA from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi and my B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur
