Research interests

Sarah has over eight years' experience in the private sector and has worked on a variety of projects across the planning remit, ranging from strategic planning and Strategic Environmental Assessment to development management and regeneration projects.

Sarah has provided strategic advice to local authorities and focused on ensuring they prepare a plan which will meet the test of soundness at Examination.  Sarah has worked on planning applications for a range of schemes including residential, mixed-use and infrastructure for public sector and private clients.

Sarah is currently a PhD student at the University of Manchester and her research is focused on the temporary use of land and buildings as part of wider regeneration, planning and economic development initiatives.

Sarah is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
