Personal profile

Overview

I am an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer within the Centre for Musculoskeletal Research. My clinical and research focus is centred around systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases (SARDs) including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), undifferentiated connective tissue disease (UCTD) and overlapping conditions.

Biography

I completed my medical degree and an intercalated BSc in Pharmacology at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. I have since completed integrated clinical and research training programmes through the NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship at the University of Manchester. In 2024 I completed my PhD at the University of Manchester, which aimed to work towards a new taxonomy across SARDs using a stratified medicine approach.

In 2025 I was appointed as an Academic Clinical Lecturer at the University of Manchester. I continue my clinical work at the Kellgren Centre for Rheumatology, which is a Lupus UK centre of Excellence.
