Dr Sasha Philbert is a Postdoctoral Research Associate investigating metallomic, metabolomic, and proteomic perturbations in post-mortem brain tissue from patients with various dementia-causing diseases, including vascular dementia, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and frontotemporal dementia.

His research expertise is in inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.
