I'm a postgraduate researcher studying "Ethnicity and Paediatric Hearing Health Inequality in Northwest England". Hearing impairment in children affects various developmental areas including speech, language, and cognition. There has been a significant increase in ethnic minority groups (non-white population) within England in the last decade. I aim 1) to recognize and analyze shortfalls in hearing healthcare service outcomes for ethnically diverse population 2) to co-produce strategies to overcome these shortfalls - which could be achieved by working closely with local ethnic communities.
