Overview

Dr Zhang re-joined Manchester University as Experimental Officer in 2013 after having working as a research associate and research fellow on a couple of EPSRC projects and Supergen wind at University of Manchester and University of Surrey. He received his MEng from North-western Polytechnical University (NWPU) in China and his PhD from University of Manchester.

Dr Zhang's research is mainly concerned with thermal fluid. He is particularly interested in studying fluid and thermal phenomena using optical diagnostic techniques such as Laser Doppler anemometry (LDA) and Particle image velocimetry (PIV).
