Overview

Stephanie is a Research Fellow based in the Centre for Primary Care at the University of Manchester, where she undertakes qualitative and mixed-methods research with a focus on health inequalities, access to and experiences of healthcare services for marginalised and under-served groups; experiences of marginalisation and social inequalities. 

She is part of the NIHR funded REVAL rapid service evaluation team where she undertakes evaluation of health policy, pilot programmes and interventions.

She has recently completed an NIHR School for Primary Care grant looking at the barriers to cervical screening for under-screened groups, in which she led the application and was the co-PI. She has a multi-faceted professional and academic background; a political economist by training, previously she has worked international development consultancy and managed an All-Party Parliamentary Group in Westminster.
