Personal profile

Overview

Philosophy

I am a Lecturer in Philosophy here at Manchester.

I did my PhD at Sheffield, supervised by Jimmy Lenman and Miranda Fricker.

Before my PhD, I was a BA student and then an MA student in Philosophy at Durham.

I like moral philosophy. I have recently published a book defending a 'robust' form of moral realism.

I am currently thinking and writing about a number of issues concerning the theory and subject matter of morality.

I also like thinking about other areas of philosophy, including metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophy of education.
