I am a Lecturer in Philosophy.

I am also the Programme Director for BA PPE.

I did my PhD at Sheffield, supervised by Jimmy Lenman and Miranda Fricker.

Before that, I studied philosophy at Durham.

I like moral philosophy. I have published a book defending 'robust' moral realism.

Past Teaching

In previous years I have led UG courses including Introduction to Ethics, Introduction to Metaphysics and Epistemology, and Philosophy of Psychology. I also coordinated the UG dissertation from 2017-24. I have taught or co-taught MA courses including Research Skills, Ethics, and Philosophy of Mind.
