Personal profile
Overview
I am a Teaching Associate in Economics at the University of Manchester. My research interests are in the areas of social policy evaluation, gender economics, and microeconometrics. My job market paper explores how export zones in India affect gender gaps in employment and job quality. As a Teaching Associate, I mainly handle small-group teaching of microeconomics and econometrics modules at the undergraduate level.
I joined the University of Manchester in September 2018 to pursue my doctorate in Economics. Prior to this, I was an Academic Associate at the Centre for Public Policy, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. I attained a Master’s degree in Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences in 2016.
