Personal profile

Overview

I am a PGR researcher working on a randomised controlled trial of a social and emotional learning intervention, 'Passport: Skills for Life', led by Professor Neil Humphrey and Professor Pamela Qualter. The trial is funded by the Kavli Trust to evaluate the impact of Passport on emotional regulation, internalising symptoms and coping skills in the transition to adolescence.

The study also investigates the relationships between emotional regulation, internalising symptoms, bullying, loneliness and peer support.

My PhD thesis will focus on the differential impact of SEL interventions among subgroups, and issues relating to subgroup analyses.

I’m part of the Education and Psychology research group at Manchester Institute of Education.

I've also been involved in the Education for Wellbeing trial as a research assistant.
