Overview

Dr. Syed Imran Saqib is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Employment Studies in the People, Management and Organization division at the Alliance Manchester Business School. His research focusses on exploring the implementation of established HRM practices in developing settings and employee experiences on social media. His work has been published in the Work Employment and Society, International Journal of Human Resource Management, New Political Economy, and The Case Centre. He has taught courses on Human Resource: Context and Organization, Human Resource Strategy, International Human Resource Management, Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Business Psychology and Research Methods in the UK and Pakistan, at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Imran completed his Masters in Organizational Sciences (HRM) from George Washington University, US in 2011 and Ph.D. in Business and Management from the University of Manchester in 2018. Prior to Manchester, he worked at Manchester Metropolitan University and The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.
