Overview

Thomas Clemmet is a postgraduate researcher based in the Division of Musculoskeletal and Dermatological Sciences and the Manchester Centre for Health Economics. He holds a Psoriasis Association PhD Studentship, and is supervised by Dr Zenas Yiu, Dr Duc Binh Phan, Mr Gabriel Rogers, and Prof Richard Warren.

His PhD is titled "Appraisal of the Cost-Effectiveness of Systemic Therapies for Psoriasis in the Era of Biosimilars", and aims to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of systemic therapies, including biologics and biosimilars, to optimise treatment strategies for moderate-to-severe psoriasis.

Biography

Before joining the University of Manchester, Tom worked as as a health economist in the life sciences consulting sector. He holds an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York. He has experience developing economic evaluations in a range of areas, including oncology, population screening, type 1 diabetes, psoriasis, narcolepsy, multiple sclerosis, and amyloidosis.
