Biography

Tian Liang is a President's Doctoral Scholar (PDS) Award-funded PhD student in the School of Health Sciences. He received a BEng degree in software engineering from Central South University in 2024, mainly working on natural language processing, code generation, and large language models. His current research, supervised by Dr. Richard Bryce, investigates the application of machine learning in AI drug design and molecular simulations.

Research interests

My research interests lie in using deep learning methods to construct better molecular representations and AI-driven drug design processes while exploring the integration of AI techs, such as large language models, into computational tasks in biology and chemistry.
