Dr
My key area of interest is the development and engineering of therapeutic proteins. I possess valuable experience from the biopharmaceutical industry, which I am bringing into my current research post at the University of Manchester. I understand the critical role biotechnology plays in the future of healthcare and I wish to continue to develop my career in this cutting edge and exciting field.
The Interplay Between Aggregation and Immunogenicity in Biopharmaceuticals.
Two key concerns over product quality within the biopharmaceutical industry are immunogenicity and aggregation of therapeutic proteins. We are developing a model system to understand the interplay of aggregation and immunogenicity to aid development of improved quality, safer and more effective therapies.
This is a BBSRC LINK project in collaboration with Lonza - Applied Protein Services (Cambridge, UK).
