I am in my first-year PhD study at the Division of Dentistry, School of Medical Sciences. My research focuses on exploring standard-setting in dental assessment and introducing the standard-setting in the Malaysian UG dental programme, utilising a mixed methods approach.
I completed my undergraduate studies (DDS) at the Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2007 and registered as a dentist with the Malaysian Dental Council.
In 2014, I completed my three-year postgraduate training, MSc (Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics) at The University of Manchester with clinical training and a research project exploring the surface roughness of dental materials using a chewing simulator in lab.
I was a staff member at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia as a lecturer in the Department of Restorative Dentistry before I started my full-time PhD studies focusing on dental education.
