Overview

Tom Clemmet is a PhD researcher based in the Division of Musculoskeletal and Dermatological Sciences and the Manchester Centre for Health Economics.

His research project (funded by the Psoriasis Association) is titled "Appraisal of the Cost-Effectiveness of Systemic Therapies for Psoriasis in the Era of Biosimilars", and aims to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of systemic therapies, including biologics and biosimilars, to optimise treatment strategies for moderate-to-severe psoriasis.

Biography

Before joining the University of Manchester, Tom worked in the Health Economics team at RTI Health Solutions, a life sciences consultancy providing health economics research for clients in the pharmaceutical industry. He holds an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York.
