As a dedicated PhD student, my primary focus is to conduct extensive research on various assessment methods in medical education. I aim to contribute to the academic community by exploring innovative ways to improve the evaluation of professional behaviors among Arab healthcare workers. Being an Arab healthcare worker myself, I am passionate about exploring the challenges faced by the healthcare workers in this region and finding effective solutions to overcome them. I have the privilege of working as a general physician and lecturer at the prestigious Qassim Medical School and University Hospital. My experience in the field has allowed me to gain valuable insights into the challenges faced by the healthcare industry in this region. Through my research, I aim to create a positive impact on the healthcare industry by developing effective assessment methods that can help improve the quality of healthcare services in the region.
Throughout my career, I have developed a keen interest in the field of Assessment in Medical Education. This interest was sparked during my tenure as a main committee member at Qassium Medical School, where I had the privilege of serving on both the Assessment and Central Exam Committees. Through my involvement with the Quality Assurance and Foundation Courses Committees, I gained a deeper understanding of the pivotal role that assessment plays in medical education. As a result, my primary research focus now centers on exploring innovative approaches to assessment that can enhance the learning experience for medical students and improve the quality of healthcare delivery.
During my time at Qassium Medical School in Saudi Arabia, starting from 2015, I have had the privilege of serving as a lecturer where I have been entrusted with supervising research students at the undergraduate level. My responsibilities have also included guiding problem-based sessions for foundational courses and delivering lectures on clinical topics, where I have covered fundamental medical knowledge and research in medical education. It has been an absolute pleasure to work in an environment where I can share my knowledge and expertise with aspiring medical students.
