Biography
Wei Yu is a PhD candidate in Development Policy and Management at the University of Manchester. Prior to the PhD programme, he obtained master's degrees from both Loughborough University and Manchester GDI, in the area of entrepreneurial management and organisational studies.
His research interests cover human resourse management and entrepreneurship. His PhD thesis focuses on exploring talent management framework in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the perspectives from China's context.
Wei have been awarded the Associate Fellowship of Advance HE (formerly the Higher Education Academy). He is an experienced Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) in the cluster of Management, Governance and Development in GDI.
