My main research interests are:
- How can adolescents, parents and schools co-create tailored support for students so that young people thrive holistically and engage actively in their learning?
- Can/should schools become platforms of holistic support for students impacted by intersecting factors of individual and place-based disadvantage?
- What can the secondary schools learn from good practice in early childhood education centres?
- How can education systems adopt a diversified approach to planning and service provision to enhance children's and young people's experience of compulsory education?
