Overview

 

Dr. Xian Yang is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at Alliance Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester. She obtained her PhD from the Department of Computing at Imperial College London. Prior to joining UoM, she worked as a Research Fellow at the Data Science Institute of Imperial College London, a researcher at Microsoft Research Asia, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Hong Kong Baptist University. Her research focuses on machine learning in healthcare, data mining, and decision science. Her work has been featured in prestigious conferences and journals, including IEEE TKDE, IEEE TNNLS, Information Fusion, MICCAI, ICDM, WWW, FSE, COLING, and EMNLP.
